Castan Delighted With Benatia Partnership
- Updated: 01/11/2013
Roma center-back Leandro Castan spoke of his delight on Roma’s tenth consecutive win (their seventh successive clean sheet) and his partnership with Mehdi Benatia, which is becoming, perhaps, the most potent partnership in Europe.
“I like this partnership with Benatia, I feel good when we do not concede goals, this makes us happy. We are doing well but we must continue to work because it is only 10 games. The secret is the desire of all the players, because when the coach arrived he brought the hunger to win, today we did not play well against eleven men in defense but I’m happy for Marco because he helps us much. Scolari? Things are quiet, he called me once, but first I think of Roma, then if I get called to the National team, I’ll be happy.”
