De Sanctis Eager To Face Former Club

FC Internazionale Milano v AS Roma - Serie A

A.S Roma goalkeeper and former Bianconeri man Morgan De Sanctis is excited to face his former club and admits that the fixture versus Napoli poses a potential threat to the Giallorossi’s perfect start to the season.

“It’s an important part of the season, even though it’s early. Surely it will be a lot different from the others. As far as I’m concerned the last four years (as a member of Napoli) were very intense,” said the goalkeepeer, “I believe that Napoli can rely on a strong workforce and they are more complete than last season. Benitez has the ability to do a great job.”

De Sanctis also spoke of the early success the Giallorossi have had, collecting their best start in club history.

“It’s a collective satisfaction because it is the result of the work that we started in July with the whole team. In the first seven games, we were very careful and scrupulous in defining all of the details.”

He concluded, “The message that I leave to the fans, both of Rome and Naples, is to enjoy the show that we will try to turn in the most exciting and beautiful match as possible.”
