Roma are set to kick-off their U.S Tour this evening as they face the MLS All-Stars at Sporting Park in Kansas City at 9 p.m local time. Roma will then train in Boston until August 5th, followed by matches on August 7th at BMO Field in Toronto versus Toronto F.C and August 10th in Washington D.C versus Chelsea.

While Rudi Garcia continues to mold the shape of the squad, there is continued speculation that Miralem Pjanic is no longer in the Frenchman’s plans. The Bosnian, who has had a mixed tenure at Roma, has been linked with PSG, Barcelona, Tottenham, and Dortmund.

Roma are said to hold a €20m valuation of the player, who has stated his intention to remain at Roma. Even though Pjanic intends to stay, he continues to be played out of position as a central midfielder. He has stated on several occasions he feels much more comfortable in an attacking midfield role.

Without a doubt, Pjanic is one of Roma’s most talent players, the hope is that the Bosnian will continue to play on in the capital.

TuttoMercatoWeb reports today that if Tottenham’s Gareth Bale is sold to Real Madrid, then the London based outfit would bid €30m for Roma’s prized starlet Erik Lamela.

It is unlikely Roma would let Lamela go at this point. The management sees Lamela as a star in the making and they would be reluctant to let the Argentinian go at such an early stage in his career.
